Lorenzo Baroni

Lorenzo is a founding partner of Silver Fir.
From 2010 to 2105 Lorenzo was a founding partner of Broadcliff Capital Partners, an independent Pan-European real estate investment manager where he had broad responsibilities across investment and asset management in Europe and Asia, on properties worth over €3 bln. He has over 20 years of real estate experience
Between 2000 and 2010 he was with Lehman Brothers Real Estate Partners, as a principal and Executive Director, where he completed over €7 bln of real estate transactions across six European countries, investing over €1 bln of equity.
He joined LBREP from Lazard, Milan, where he participated in over €5 bln of real estate M&A and restructuring deals
Lorenzo has a magna cum laude degree in economics from the Università degli Studi di Verona.
Andrea Portella
Co-Founder - MD
Andrea is a founding partner of Silver Fir. He is also the co-founder of Skymac Company, an Italian real estate asset management and brokerage company working with institutional investors and family offices. He has over 20 years of real estate experience
Prior to establishing Skymac in 2007, Andrea was the youngest person ever to be appointed as director within Pirelli Real Estate, which he joined in 1998. At PRE he was responsible for the offices, retail and funds units, completing over €1.5 bln of annual transactions, including: the acquisitions of UNIM, of the Eni and of the Telecom Italia portfolios; the creation of the Pirelli Real Estate SGR; the IPO of Pirelli Real Estate. Between 2000 and 2002 he was responsible for SCIP I, with sales of over €1.8 bln
Andrea has a degree in economics from Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi, Milan, and has been a licensed real estate agent since 2002.
Paolo Mevio
Co-Founder - Chairman
Paolo is a founding partner of Silver Fir and an advisory partner of Bain & Company, Inc., based in London.
Paolo has been with Bain for 25 years; during such time he has been the Managing Partner of Bain Italy and the head of firm’s Italian private equity practice. Prior to joining Bain in 1994, Paolo was the CFO of Nestlé Italy and international auditor of Nestlé S.A.
Paolo has a wealth of investment and corporate finance experience both as a principal and an advisor. In addition to his role in Silver Fir, he acts as a business angel and private investor in a number of companies. He has worked on business start ups, venture capital, M&A, turnarounds, and performance improvement programs in Italy and internationally.
Paolo has a magna cum laude degree in Economics from Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi, Milan.
Cristina Reinaudo
Principal
Cristina is a principal of Silver Fir, where she focuses on real estate acquisitions and asset management. She was a co-founder of Skymac Company. She has over 17 years experience in property transactions and asset management.
Prior to establishing Skymac in 2007, Cristina managed the investment agency of Pirelli Real Estate, where she conducted yearly transactions amounting to over €1 bln in value.
She is a graduate of Università degli Studi di Milano, with a degree in Political Sciences and has been a licensed real estate agent since 2002.
Davide Tonegutti
Principal
Davide is a principal of Silver Fir, where he focuses on real estate acquisitions and asset management. He has been the investment director of Skymac since 2012. He has over 15 years of real estate experience, focussing on the Italian property market.
Prior to joining Skymac, he headed the development team of the Nexity Group in Milan. Before 2010 he managed the investment agency at Pirelli Real Estate, where he completed yearly transactions amounting to over €500 mln in value.
He graduated from Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi, Milan, with a degree in economics. He has been a licensed real estate agent since 2012.
Michela Cataldi
Vice President
Michela is vice president of Silver Fir, where she manages value enhacement processes and business plan implementation across a number of real estate properties. She has 9 years of real estate experience.
Prior to joining Silver Fir, Michela has worked as asset manager with BNP Paribas REIM and assistant fund manager with Fabrica Immobiliare, managing – on behalf of listed and private real estate funds – diversified portfolios of real estate properties spanning office, retail, logistic, residential, hotel and other assets.
She has a degree in Architecture from La Sapienza University in Rome and a master in Real Estate Management from LUISS Business School. She in certified as an architect since 2011.
Guido Alessio
Risk & ESG
Guido oversees risk management for Silver Fir and its managed funds. In addition, he coordinates the analysis and management of sustainability, ESG and impact activities for the company. He has over 10 years of experience.
Prior to joining Silver Fir, Guido has worked with European Investment Consulting, a company specialized in providing institutional investors with risk, asset & liability management and portfolio monitoring services, where he specialised in assisting clients in the real estate industry, as well as other asset classes, on risk management matters.
He graduated from Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi, in Milan, with a degree in economics and finance, and holds a professional risk manager title from PRMIA.
Carlo Frittoli
Valuation
Carlo oversees the valuation function for Silver Fir, where he analyses values across the investment portfolios of the funds managed by the company. He has over 25 years of experience.
Carlo has worked across numerous positions related to real estate and business valuations, software development for business planning and valuation and risk analysis and management. He has authored several publications on real estate valuation and analysis.
He graduated from Università degli Studi di Genova, with a degree in business administration, is a chartered accountant and is a real estate an business appraiser (perito) for the Courts of Genoa.
